How the X-Mount system works
Every Armor-X rugged case has the X-Mount lock built into the back. Every mount uses the same lock pattern. Click in, click out, tool-free. Same iPhone case goes from the bike handlebar to the car dashboard to the workbench clamp to the helmet, in seconds.
Three modular layers:
- Case with X-Mount lock built-in (one per device)
- Adaptor when you need to connect to a different mount standard (1-inch ball, AMPS pattern, GoPro fitting)
- Mount for the place you want the phone: bike bar, car dash, drill-in plate, chest harness
Phone or tablet
The system scales: small mounts for phones (Type-K, Type-M), larger for tablets (Type-T), plus the universal tablet system (UMT and P*UT) for iPad and Galaxy Tab.
