Refund policy

Returns & refunds Effective: 25 February 2025

1. Warranty

Armor-X provides a 12-month warranty on all products against defects in material or workmanship. Under this coverage, the company will either repair the item using new or refurbished components, or provide a replacement unit.

Claim process

  • Contact info@armor-x.co.nz with your order number and claim details.
  • Include damage photos when possible.
  • In-warranty claims include repair and return shipping costs.
  • Out-of-warranty repairs are available at customer expense.

What's not covered

The warranty excludes damage from misuse, modifications, or unauthorised repairs. Third-party device compatibility issues and warranty misuse are also excluded.

2. Returns

For defective items

Report problems within 7 days of delivery with order details. We will send a replacement if defects are verified, or return the original item if no defect is found.

For unopened items (change of mind)

Return unused, unopened items in original packaging within 30 days at your own expense. Contact info@armor-x.co.nz within 7 days for authorisation. Upon verification, receive a full refund or store credit (excluding shipping).

3. Refunds

Once your return is inspected, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7 days. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Partial refunds apply to items returned damaged or missing parts (not from company error) or received after 30 days from delivery.

4. Exchanges

We only replace defective or damaged items. Contact info@armor-x.co.nz and ship to:

5. Shipping for returns

Customers pay return shipping costs. For approved refunds, return shipping is deducted. Items over $75 should use a trackable shipping service or insurance.

6. Consumer rights (New Zealand law)

Our policies comply with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 — ensuring faulty products receive repair, replacement or refund, and guaranteeing accurate advertising and pricing.
